Rev. Ronald A. Brauer
Reverend Ron A. Brauer has served St. John’s Lutheran since June 2004. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Concordia University Chicago majoring in Mathematics with a minor in Physical Science. He spent time teaching in Lutheran elementary schools in Rocky River, Ohio; Gaylord, Minn.; Fremont, Neb.; & Rochelle, Ill. In 2002, he earned a Master of Divinity from Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne, Ind. with concentrations in Exegetical and Practical Theology.
Mr. David Wippich
Born in Robbinsdale, Minn., Dave Wippich attended Lutheran Day School in Willow Creek, Minn. and is a graduate of Amboy-Thunder High School in Amboy, Minn. Dave graduated from Concordia University, St. Paul with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in biology. He earned his Master's Degree in Elementary Education with Highest Distinction from Valparaiso University. In May 2009, he received an earned credential with Highest Distinction status at Indiana University South Bend for Educational Leadership. Wippich holds a lifetime Teacher's License in the state of Indiana and is in process to receive his Administrator's License. He served as the fifth grade teacher at St. John's for twenty years, Athletic Director for fifteen years, and is currently serving in his ninth year as Principal.
Mrs. Susan Rosselli
Director of Music
I have been an educator in a variety of settings including: public, private and home schools, after school programs, and teaching for home-bound. I am presently Director of Music, serving organist, and choir director. I earned a Bachelor’s degree from State University of New York at Fredonia, a Master’s degree from Manhattan School of Music, and New York State teacher certification for music K-12, and did further post graduate work in music and education at Columbia University. My husband, Rev. Jim Rosselli , daughter Alyssa and I have lived in La Porte now for 11 years. I strive to share my own passion for music as a means of worship, prayer, and outreach.
